minimum qualifying marks In the Civil Services Examination 2023,

the minimum qualifying standards/marks secured by the last recommended candidate in various categories at various stages are as under:-

*Cut off marks on the basis of GS Paper-I only. GS Paper-II was of qualifying nature with 33% marks as per Rule-15 of Civil Services Examination, 2023.

         # Subject to 10% marks in each of the seven competitive papers i.e. Essay, GS-I, GS-II, GS-III, GS-IV, Optional-I and Optional-II. 

-2- 2. Wherever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in CSE Exam, 2023, the tie(s) have been resolved in accordance with the principles approved by the Commission, viz.

 (i) Candidate securing more marks in the @ Compulsory Papers and the Personality Test put together is to be ranked higher; and 

(ii) In case where the marks mentioned at (i) above are equal, the candidate senior in age is to be ranked higher. @ Compulsory Papers include Essay, General Studies-I, General Studies-II, General Studies-III and General Studies-IV.

बोर्ड परीक्षा की तैयारी हेतु महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव-

परीक्षा से पूर्व की तैयारी हेतु सुझाव-

1- रसायन विज्ञान के निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम को पढ़े तथा समय-सारिणी का निर्माण करें।

2- विगत वर्षो के बोर्ड परीक्षा के रसायन विज्ञान के प्रश्नपत्रों एवं माडल प्रश्नपत्रों के पैटर्न कोसमझें तथा उन्हें हल करने का प्रयास करें। माडल प्रश्नपत्र प्राप्त करने हेतु

bteup.in  पर सम्पर्क करें।

3- सरल अध्यायों की तैयारी पहले तथा कठिन अध्यायों की बाद में करें।

4- अध्याय से सम्बन्धित मुख्य प्रकरणों को बिन्दुवार लिखकर पढ़े जिससे रिविजन करने में आसानी हो।

5- अध्याय से सम्बन्धित मुख्य प्रकरणों को फ्लोचार्ट बनाकर याद करें।

उदाहरण-

6- भौतिक रसायन सम्बन्धी अध्यायों से अंकिक प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। अतः अध्यायों से सम्बन्धित फार्मूलों की सूची बनाएॅ।

7- अंाकिक प्रश्नों को हल करने का अभ्यास करें।

8- कार्बनिक तथा अकार्बनिक रसायन सम्बन्धी अध्यायों के समीकरणों को लिखकर समझने का प्रयास करें।

क्रिस्टलीय ठोसों का वर्गीकरण

9- प्रमुख यौगिकों के विरचन की विधियों तथा रसायनिक गुणों को फ्लोचार्ट बनाकर पढे़।

10- प्रकरणों से सम्बन्धित चित्रों को बनाकर अभ्यास करें।

11- आई0यू0पी0ए0सी0 नामकरण तथा समावयवता सम्बन्धी प्रकरणों को सूची,चार्ट तथा फ्लोचार्ट बनाकर अभ्यास करें।

12- प्रकरणों को रटने के स्थान पर समझने का प्रयास करें।

परीक्षा कक्ष में ध्यान देने योग्य बिन्दु-

1- परीक्षा देते समय सर्वप्रथम प्रश्नपत्र को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़े।

2- परीक्षा में आंकिक प्रश्नों को हल करते समय प्रयोग किए जाने वाले सूत्र, प्रतीक, इकाई इत्यादि अवश्य लिखें।

3- उत्तरपुस्तिका मं े रासायनिक समीकरण लिखते समय ध्यान दंे कि वह संतुलित हो तथा ताप, दाब, उत्प्रेरक वर्धक आदि का उल्लेख अवश्य करें।

4- उत्तरपुस्तिका में सुन्दर तथा स्पष्ट सुलेख से उत्तरों को लिखे।

5- शीर्षकों को लिखने के लिए काले तथा नीले स्केचपेन का प्रयोग करं।े

6- चित्र बनाने तथा नामाकंन हेतु रगं ीन पेनसिल का प्रयोग करंे।

7- सर्वप्रथम सरल प्रश्नों को हल करें तत्पश्चात् कठिन प्रश्नों को करे।

8- समय का ध्यान रखते हुए प्रश्नपत्र को हल करें।

9 प्रश्नों के प्रकार के आधार पर उत्तर लिखे।

10- उत्तरों को फ्लोचार्ट के माध्यम से प्रदर्शित करने का प्रयास करें।

11- उत्तरों को लिखने के पश्चात् उत्तरपुस्तिका का पुनरावलोकन अवश्य करें।

Some Useful Tips for Preparation of Board Examination

 Do check the latest syllabus and model paper on the official website of the UP

Board i.e. www.bteup.in & www.upmsp.edu.in

 Make a time table to revise the whole syllabus thoroughly.

 Solving the model paper in the given time limit will be useful.

 Note down your doubts and difficulties and consult your teachers to resolve them

timely.

 Also check the quality content available on Urise & DIKSHA portal and E-Gyan Ganga

Youtube channel. It would be quite beneficial.

As for different sections of the question paper the following precautions and preparations will

be useful-

Reading-

 Read the given unseen passage in the question paper twice, carefully.

 After first reading, read the questions and then read the passage again.

 Keep underlining key words /phrases so that you can locate the answers in the

passage quickly.

 Write answers in your own words and expressions. Do not copy the words of the

passage.

Writing-

 Do practise proper format of the letters.

 Reading articles and editorials, letters to the editor published in newspapers will

help you learn appropriate terms and expressions. Videos on Urise & DIKSHA portal and

E-Gyan Ganga Youtube channel will be very useful.

 Do Use only relevant quotations or proverbs.

 Writing too long answers with irrelevant stuff gives a very poor, impression, so never

do that. Follow the prescribed word limit.

Grammar-

 In MCQs write the correct answer(option) in the answer sheet. Don’t write only

the option number.

 Practise ‘translation’ by translating short Hindi passages daily. You can consult

your teacher for the new or difficult words. Keep noting in your note book the

new terms / words and expressions that you come across while translating. Do

revise them before exam.

 You can get practice passages from newspapers or books available around you.

 For practising narration prepare a chart of rules and put it in your room at a

convenient place so that you can revise them easily.

 For synthesis take 5 sets of 2 sentences daily and combine them in simple,

complex and compound sentences.

 For grammar practise as many examples as are possible.

Literature

 Names and spelling of Lessons, writers and characters must be learnt correctly.

 Keep noting the key points of the lessons. They will help you remember the whole

lesson. In the examination also you can highlight the key points by writing them

in a box.

 Do learn the central theme of the poems.

 Read each and every line of the prescribed poems very carefully and also the

imagery used.

 Revise the figures of speech and mark their use in the prescribed poems.

 You may be required to analyse, compare or justify various incidents or

characters from your own point of view. Think about such questions and note

your thoughts in key points. Revise these points before exam.

Some General Precautions:-

 Time management is important. So divide the allotted time for various types of

questions and practise completing them within the time limit.

 Read the question paper very carefully in the given 15 minutes.

 Use short and simple sentences to maintain clarity and fluency.

 Always follow the prescribed word limit.

 Practise writing neatly. Good handwriting is always appreciated.

 Good vocabulary, correct spellings and correct grammar help you write good

answers. Learn and practise wholeheartedly.

गणित अध्ययन में अभ्यास की निरन्तरता बनी रहे तो आशानुरूप परिणाम प्राप्त किया जा

सकता है। गणित विषय की तैयारी करने एवं उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित

महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं को ध्यान में रखें -

1-प्रत्येक विषय का निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम एवं मॉडल प्रश्नपत्र प्राविधिक शिक्षा परिषद् की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट bteup.in  पर उपलब्ध है उनका भली भाँति अध्ययनकरें।

2-विद्यार्थी अपनी स्वयं की समय सारिणी अवश्य बनाकर पढ़ें जिससे सम्पूर्ण निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम की पुनरावृत्ति हो सके।

3-गणित के पाठ्यक्रम को अपनी सुविधानुसार बचे हुये दिवसों में विभाजित कर लें,जिसमें कठिन टॉपिक के लिए ज्यादा समय निर्धारित करें।यदि कोई टॉपिक या प्रश्न अस्पष्ट हो तो विषय अध्यापक से सम्पर्क कर ससमय उन्हें

स्पष्ट कर लें।

4-अध्यायवार सूत्रों की सूची बनाकर अपने अध्ययन कक्ष में चिपका लें व उन्हें कण्ठस्थ करें।

5-अध्याय से सम्बन्धित सभी नियमों एवं मुख्य बिन्दुओं को एक साथ नोट कर लें जिससे परीक्षा के समय रिवीजन करने में आसानी होगी।

6-गणित में जो टॉपिक्स आपको सरल लगते हैं उन्हें सबसे पहले तैयार करें जिससे उन पर आपकी पकड़ मजबूत हो सके।

7-रैखिक प्रोग्रामन के प्रश्नों को हल करते समय रेखायॆ खींचने मे स्केल व पेसिल का प्रयोग अवश्य करें।

विभाग के यू-ट्यबू चैनल ‘ई-ज्ञान गंगा‘यू राइज पर उपलब्ध है। विद्यार्थी उनसे भी सहायता ले सकते हैं।

10-पुनरावृत्ति के साथ-साथ समय का प्रबन्धन अवश्य करें। इसके लिये प्राविधिक शिक्षा परिषद की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध मॉडल प्रश्न पत्र एवं विगत पाँच वर्षों के प्रश्नपत्र को निर्धारित समय में हल करने का प्रयास अवश्य करें।

11-प्रश्न पत्र को हल करते समय निम्न बिन्दुओं का ध्यान अवश्य रखे प्रश्नपत्र में दिये गये प्रश्नो  को हल करने से पूर्व ध्यानपर्वू क अवश्य पढे।

12-प्रश्नपत्र में जिन प्रश्नों का हल स्पष्ट हो उसे पहले हल करें तत्पश्चात् जिन प्रश्नों में कठिनाई हो उसे बाद में हल करें। समय नष्ट न करें।

13-प्रश्नों को हल करने से पूर्व यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि आपने प्रश्न सही-सही उतारा है अथवा नहीं। कभी-कभी प्रश्नों में दी गयी संख्याओं को गलत लिख लेने के कारण पूरी प्रक्रिया सही होने के बाद भी उत्तर सही नहीं आता है और अंक कट जाते हैं।

14-प्रश्नों को हल करने में आवश्यक सभी चरण  जरूर लिखें। प्रश्नों के हल को स्पष्ट करनें में आवश्यक चित्रों एवं ग्राफ का प्रयोग अवश्य करें।

15-उत्तर पुस्तिका में प्रश्नपत्र में दी गयी प्रश्न संख्या ही अंकित करें।प्रश्नों को स्वच्छ एवं स्पष्ट तरीके से हल करने का प्रयास करें यह भी ध्यान रहें कि ओवरराइटिंग एवं ज्यादा कटिंग न हो।

16-रफ कार्य उत्तर पुस्तिका के अंतिम पृष्ठ पर या दाहिनी ओर मार्जिन खींच कर करें तथा उस पृष्ठ के ऊपरी भाग पर रफ कार्य अंकित करें। रफ कार्य करने के पश्चात् एक सीधी रेखा से काट दें। प्रश्नपत्र पूरा हल करने के पश्चात् यह सुनिश्चित हों लें कि आपके द्वारा प्रश्नपत्र में अंकित सभी प्रश्नों को हल कर लिया गया है।
